Join us on Monday, February 13 at 7 pm for a Zoom meeting as TMO and our Texas IAF sister organizations prepare for the critical days ahead at the Texas Legislature.

At this meeting we will focus on:

1. How the Texas Legislature really works and how legislation is passed or blocked;

2. Overview of our Texas IAF priority bills for 2023 including;

• Increasing access to healthcare
• Increasing funding for Workforce Development/ACE fund
• Stopping the return of corporate welfare tax laws;
• Improving gun safety
• Adequately funding public education/teacher retirement 

3. Planning for the March 21 IAF Legislative where all our organizations will travel to Austin to talk to our legislators
