JOIN US FOR AN URGENT MEETING

It is time to demand action for gun safety!

We are calling for an urgent gun safety strategy meeting THIS Sunday, September 8 at 3pm at All Saints Catholic Church, 215 E 10th St, Houston, TX 77008, to launch a statewide postcard campaign in partnership with our 10 sister organizations across Texas.

This campaign will call on Senator John Cornyn, as a senior U.S. Senator representing Texas, to urge the senate to vote on legislation that works to address the repeated gun violence in our communities. Specifically, this postcard will ask him to request bringing two bills which have already passed the house, HR8 and HR112, to the senate for a vote. Additionally, when HR1186 and HR 1236 pass the house, we ask that the Senator will request those additional bills be brought to the senate for a vote.

Postcards and further instructions will be distributed on Sunday.

All clergy, leaders and guests are welcome to this meeting on Sunday. It is extremely important to have you there to join hundreds of leaders across Texas to demand action now!
