By making this pledge, you promise to vote in the Fall Election.

TMO developed this pledge as a way for you (and your friends and family!) to maintain accountability when it comes to voting. Many studies show that we are more likely to complete an action when we make a public commitment to it.

Making an informed vote helps our community, and pledging to vote helps TMO and your congregation shape good public policy to benefit our families and communities. We want candidates to know that TMO supports:

• Expanding access to healthcare for working families
• Ending punitive immigration tactics and working for smart immigration reform
• Assuring public schools have adequate funds to educate our children and are run by locally elected board members.
• Investing in Capital Idea Houston and workforce development programs that allow low-wage workers to develop the skills needed to do fill the high skill jobs where they are needed
• Developing sensible, regional flood control and development policies.
